ABOUT BRIAN
As a former nuclear submarine officer, I ran a tight ship - now I run a tight meeting.
After 30 years of leadership experience in large companies, I decided to turn my attention to executive coaching. But really, my love for coaching comes from the fact that I’m a lifelong lover of puzzles: chess, logic, crosswords, and the best place to find challenging puzzles is in business.
As a business owner, you come across problems daily that seem impossible at first, but like any good puzzle, only require a shift in perspective to make the solution appear obvious. Business problems present a nearly infinite array of possibilities and moves that seem like they might work and, like a Chess Puzzle, it’s impossible to use brute force to solve.
One of the lasting lessons from my career has been in the importance of curating a team capable of being honest and constructive. I’ve used that to assemble a team of intelligent, ambitious executives selected especially to help each other grow.
Outside of executive coaching, I’m an avid golfer, a husband, and father of three boys.
